'Diving into a dream'

This is an Art Deco inspired figure. I was thinking of the diver being able to stand at the cliff edge and plunge forward into the sea without fear. It was very interesting to investigate the consideration of form from this period of art history. I wanted to achieve both a sense of tranquility and a certain tension necessary for the task.

This piece would work well on a plinth, ideally in stone, and is particularly suited to a smaller setting outside - possibly near a seating area. Alternatively, a conservatory and other interiors.

Bronze on a two-tiered bronze base.
